The course provides professional education and does not guarantee complete pigment removal or a particular cosmetic outcome.

Students must work within their training, competence, insurance coverage and applicable local requirements.

In the Netherlands, permanent makeup is legally treated as tattooing because pigment is introduced into the skin, and PMU providers are subject to hygiene, pigment and location requirements.

Where applicable, students should verify whether additional requirements apply to the specific removal method they intend to offer. For example, Dutch government guidance states that providers of laser tattoo/PMU removal are subject to the Wkkgz requirements.
